The start position for many abdominal workouts is nearly the same; lie flat on your back with or without a pillow supporting your head and place your hands at your side. For leg spinners, keep your feet together and raise your legs 18"- 24" off the bed. Contract your abdominal muscles and tuck your navel, then move both feet in wide clockwise circles for thirty seconds. Rest for ten seconds, then repeat in a counter-clockwise pattern.
