Upper Back Release

Bedside Upper Back Release

If you wake up with back pain, you better go buy yourself a new bed. Or better yet, save a couple bucks and stretch it out first thing in the morning. It's easy to do and it can help you release some tension early in the day before things get really hairy at work!


Clasp your hands in front of you, straighten your elbows and round your shoulders. You shoulder feel your upper back stretch as you bring your shoulders forward and round your upper back. You can tuck your head down too but if you have neck problems or headaches, be careful how much you bring it down. Hold that stretch for 30 seconds and then release. Make sure you repeat it again before you start going about your day.
