Calf Raises Dish Washing

Some people were born with great calf muscles, others get to spend their weekday nights bouncing up and down on the kitchen floor while they do the dishes. We promise, this exercise will be more enjoyable than doing the dishes anyway, and will help with blood flow to the legs and walking endurance.

Instructions:

Stand upright facing your kitchen sink. Lift both your heels at the same time and put all your weight on your toes. Keep your knees and back straight. Hold the contraction at the top for a full second then go back down to the ground. Keep repeating the contraction/relaxation for 30 seconds. Relax, shake out your legs, and repeat two more times.
