How do you get laundry done faster? Skip a step! Get it? Bad jokes aside, skipping a step whenever you take the stairs will get those leg muscles working more and might even save you some time.
With the laundry basket in hand, start at the bottom of the steps. Step up onto the second step, skipping the first step. Repeat on the other side by either coming back to your starting position again and stepping up with the other leg or keep walking up the steps alternating your front leg and skipping a step.
