Remember a couple years ago when planking was all the rage? Well this isn't quite the same thing but really we wish it would become more popular so everyone would be walking around with a strong core like all of us here at hip.fit. Seriously though, planks are a great way to strengthen your abs without risking damage to your back or neck like some other ab exercises.
Start on all fours and then bring your elbows underneath your shoulders. Extend your legs out behind you with your back straight and flat with your abs tight the whole time. Stay in this position for 30 seconds and then relax and try it again.
