You can channel all your inner ballerina fantasies with this exercise, without the angry teacher yelling at you that you are doing it wrong. Here at Hip.fit we believe in trying things so even if you can't plie exactly right, go for it anyways and see what you can do. This is a great exercise to improve your leg strength and flexibility as well as your core stability.

Instructions:

Start in standing with your legs a little further than shoulder width apart. Now you want to squat down by bringing your knees out to the side and bringing your bottom down towards the floor with your feet turned out to the side. Make sure you sit back into the position so your knees don't pass over your toes as you go down. Repeat as many as you can in 30 seconds.
