Towel Pull (no props)

Towel Pull

At hip.fit, we're all about making use of otherwise idle time in our lives. Towel Pulls are a perfect way to pass the time while you're waiting for the shower water to warm up. Overhead towel pulls double as a static stretch and strength exercise for tight shoulder and neck muscles. Drop the towel to a vertical orientation behind your head to target biceps and triceps.

Instructions:

Roll a thick towel and grasp it firmly at both ends. Hold it overhead with your arms outstretched and elbows slightly bent. Pull to the right with the right arm while applying resistance with the left. Continue to apply resistance for 15-20 seconds before returning to the start position. Pull to the left with the left arm and repeat.
